Chest of drawers amboine magnifying glass gilding circa 1940s

Very beautiful art deco chest of drawers in amboine magnifying glass and walnut attributed to maurice dufrène dating from the 1940s. This chest of drawers is very decorative, and typical of the late art deco period all in roundness. Les pieds dorés à la feuille were one of maurice dufrène's signatures for la maîtrise, and enhance the piece. It can be diverted in an entrance or a living room to give a chic art deco touch. It has been completely restored and revarnished, and is in superb condition, the color of the amboine magnifying glass is magnificent.
