Description
Bronze cup, signed ferdinand levillain, barbedienne cross-country skier. Ferdinand levillain (1837-1905) is a goldsmith and sculptor who became famous from his association with barbedienne by creating cups, amphorae and other bronze objects of antique inspiration. Ferdinand levillain received the gold medal at the universal exhibition in paris in 1878. The cup proposed here is a typical example of his work.
