Description
Reformed PTT mailbox from 1973 (reform stamp inside) complete with its key, its plexiglass mail collection time plate, its anti-humidity grid, numbering of the mail collection schedule. Registration DEJOIE & Cie in Nantes, foundry which in 1949 became the sole supplier of letterboxes to the French Post Office. The post office indicated as the closest is that of the town of Rivesaltes, in the Pyrénées-Orientales where Marshal Joffre was born. To be diverted into a key box or medicine box
