Description
Christofle paris, set of 12 silver-plated table forks and 12 spoons, decorated with crossed ribbons around rushes or bundles connected by knots at the collar and base. Hallmarks: • christofle in all letters • cc a balance, four stars, the number 84 between the plates, two branches below all in an oval in a rectangle, hallmark used between 1844 and 1935. Dimensions: • spoons: l.21.2 cm. • forks: l.21.2 cm. In their box. Condition report: some wear from use but very good state of conservation, particularly considering the age of this cutlery. No missing silvering or deformation to report. Rubans created in 1907, the rubans model is directly inspired by the louis XVI style and its romantic charm instilled by queen marie-antoinette by incorporating characteristic elements of the style. It can be seen as a heritage of models created in the 19th century, under the reign of emperor napoleon iii, inspired by the great french centuries.
