Old trading counter - 1900, in oak with glazed drawers

Sales counter in solid oak, with 15 drawers, 12 of which are glazed, and a marble top, 1900s. This sublime piece of furniture in solid oak is a piece of furniture with drawers, paneled on one side, which can therefore be used as a sales counter or bank in a store. From the 1900s, it has 15 drawers including 11 glazed drawers, seed drawer style. We decided to leave it with its original patina to preserve its authenticity. The entire interior of the drawers has been sanded and then matt varnished for healthy daily use. The marble top has undergone a restoration, one of its broken corners has been glued back together by us as shown in certain photos. The marble top was sanded then varnished with a polyurethane-based varnish to enhance and protect it. Despite being sanded, marble retains traces of its past uses, improving the charm of the furniture and retaining its patina. Also note that the central top drawer was made by our cabinetmaker because it was missing. A very beautiful piece for a hotel reception or an elegant boutique. The piece of furniture is very heavy, but the marble can be removed for transport. Dimensions: l200 X h90 X d70 cm.
