Umbrella rack Blow up Alessi

The first objects of the campana brothers were introduced into the alessi production in 2004, immediately meeting an international success. These two brazilian designers have successfully breathed a breath of fresh air into the design of household art. Their modality of construction alludes to forms of recycling by combining poetry with functional data. The "blow up" collection emerges from the idea of assembling hypothetical pieces of steel wire by welding them together. It is also a technological interpretation (surprising for the choice of a material such as steel) of trançado, the ancient braiding technique of the brazilian indians.
