Here is a watercolor representing a landscape in front of the vauban barracks in valenciennes in 1913. The watercolor is signed, but we are not certain of the signature, however the technique is good. A handwritten inscription is visible on the back: vauban barracks... Everything is natural, in attic condition, this work is very damaged. Note traces and spots of foxing, a partly yellowed margin, wear and gaps on the frame, scratches on the glass at the bottom.
