Cherrywood Landing Chest – Late 19th Century

This landing box, in solid cherry wood, opens with a lid with a doweled frame mounted on hinges. The body has two knockout panels with molded interior, separated by a central upright. This piece of furniture rests on a coved plinth ending in small flat feet. The interior offers ample storage space.
