Baccarat plate holder

Baccarat magnificent and rare suite of 6 plate holders allowing the plate to be raised by sliding it underneath, typically for artichoke or asparagus sauce. Very fashionable in the 19th century. Bamboo model length 7cm, width 4.5cm, thickness 2.3cm, weight 102gr each beautifully made, thick and heavy pieces. Originally baccarat labels which have disappeared over time no signature because production before 1936 the baccarat house marketed these items under the name "plate holder" they can be found in their 1916 catalog page 73 under the reference s487 object second-hand in good used condition with some small traces of time unbleached, unyellowed crystal, perfectly transparent and sound.
