This work and games table, in a so-called trumpet shape, in walnut veneer, has a top, inlaid with light wood decorated with foliage and chessboard, surrounded by a bec de corbin molding. This top, mounted on brass hinges, opens using a hook lock accompanied by its rear key. The interior, entirely upholstered in patterned fabric, offers a large central cavity, with a lid with a turned wooden button, surrounded by eight lockers. The belt is decorated with scrolls and a light wooden net. These elements rest on an octagonal conical shaft with a large generously carved collar continuing with a turning and a tripod foot with acanthus leaf in patinated wood.
