Mahogany Console, Louis XVI – 18th Century

This solid and veneered mahogany console opens at the waist with a large drawer equipped with two folding handles with functional original lock and entrance accompanied by their fitted key. This console is mounted on four slightly swollen turned legs with flanges resting on square feet and ending in spindle turned legs. The solid mahogany spacer shelf, with protruding strip, is slightly recessed. The top features a recessed gray marble highlighted by a molded miter-cut frame below on all three visible sides.
