large white tweed pouf Le Bambole by Mario Bellini for B&B Italia, design 1970

Bambola footstool is part of the Le Bambole collection, an original project from 1972 designed by Mario Bellini and awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 1979. Entirely composed of foam obtained by cold molding, fully removable cover and in fabric here tweed white. Not reupholstered, everything here is from B&B Italia, labels and canvas, the whole is in very good condition, no stains apart from a hole on one side. Dim 119 x D91 x H75 (seat 45) Note that the poufs are no longer produced by B&B and are therefore included in the catalog of sought-after pieces of mid-century design.
