Black brush mark, factory mark hb-werkstätten marwitz with ligated monogram: "hb". A hand-painted jug by hedwig bollhagen from the 1960s. Hedwig bollhagen was one of the most famous german ceramists of the 20th century. She has collaborated with with charles crodel. She founded hb-werkstätten für keramik, a ceramics company that still operates today, and a museum dedicated to her work has been opened in velten, germany.
