A beautiful vintage Azilal carpet, light and made from soft wool with a typical design from the Azilal region in the High Atlas Mountains. The 'eye' in the middle protects against the evil eye and the faded tones of red, purple and orange make this a warm and stunning piece in any room. Just flip it around in summer and you have a great flat weave carpet as well! Our vintage carpets have great character and are all unique in their symbols and patterns. Thesis hand loomed rugs have been made by Berber women from the High Atlas Mountains who have been incorporating their hardship and life's experiences for centuries into their carpets.
