Curule stool, attributed to maison jansen, 1960s-70s. Metal base, with brass touches black coated woven seat, with small wear from use (visible in the photos) maison jansen is a large decoration house founded in 1880 in paris. The first global design house, it combines stylistic influences, from the 18th century to the present day. This then allowed it to supply the great english and qatari royal houses, but also various embassies or luxury hotels. The house ceased its activity in 1989.
