Orange lined crystal shell vase OVERLAY Cristallerie de SAINT-LOUIS?

This sumptuous vase is made of crystal, probably from the saint-louis factory. This model is in orange lined crystal. The overlay technique is a specialty of the saint-louis crystal factory: a first parison of transparent crystal is covered with a second orange parison, then it is cut to reveal the underlying crystal. In a deep orange, this vase is decorated with a rich and precise cut composed of shuttles, stars and flowers. In good general condition, it measures 21 cm in height X 12 cm at the neck. Very heavy and stable, it is not signed. I report a chip on the edge and a lime deposit inside.
