Exceptionally beautiful faux bamboo dresser from France around 1900. Faux bamboo was a popular woodwork of furniture that started around the end of 1800. Bamboo was at the time a particularly exotic product that was not found in europe. As a result, furniture makers started processing oak and beech wood so that it looked like bamboo. This furniture is made from pitch pine and beech wood. The cabinet has countless faux bamboo details and has a beautiful white marble top. The rear edge has been broken in the past as seen in the photo. The large original mirror is beautifully weathered in some places. This furniture has been completely restored and cleaned. A beautiful practical piece of furniture for your bathroom or bedroom. The height of the top is 82 cm.
