Danish design ceiling light by Jo Hammerborg, produced by Fog&Mørup, model Saturn from 1963. (This lamp is age-appropriate for the period) Beautiful ceiling lamp in copper color with an anthracite-colored belt around. The Saturn lamp is the thickest and most compact in Johannes Hammerborg's Saturn series - a collection of lamps where Hammerborg explored the art of creating balance and proportion in form through a construction of two concentric cylindrical bands in many different variations in height and width. A very beautiful pendant. Minor signs of use, but no dents or warping, however, it should be mentioned that the bottom grille / plate is missing and therefore it is sold well below the normal price for these lamps.
