Description
A rare model of chest stool or so-called "shine stool" from the former manufacturer rotub, it dates from the 1970s, (for the record rotub was a manufacturer specializing in metal furniture located in courtemer (77), a company created in 1900 and closed in 1989). The chest as well as the seat are in white formica, veined with gray streaks, as for the interior, it is in raw wood. The base is made of chrome-plated metal tubes. It can obviously be used to store everything you need for polishing shoes, but with a little imagination it could also fulfill many other functions, why not a secret chest Its dimensions: 46.7 cm high - the base 31x31 cm at its base - the seat 29x29 cm it is in a condition consistent with its age and use, still very solid and stable. Note, a missing edge on the seat, easily repaired with iron-on edge banding, the chrome of the base is in good condition, just a few imperceptible traces of corrosion.
