Brutalist Hammered Copper Vase by László Dömötör, Hungary, 1970s

This brutalist hammered copper vase was made by hungarian goldsmith lászló mihaly dömötör, circa 1970. It is signed 'dömötör l.'. There is a trace of an old label on the base (as seen in the photo). The vase is in excellent condition. Approximate size: height 21.5 cm X diameter 11 cm. László mihaly dömötör (1914-1995) was a hungarian goldsmith active since 1937 when he graduated from the school of applied arts. In the early 1950s, he organised the goldsmith restoration workshop at the museum of applied arts, which he led until 1955. He also worked as a teacher.
