Pair of Matteo Grassi MG5 armchairs

Authentic pair of MG5 cognac leather armchairs, Italy, 1970, stamped "Matteo Grassi". These cantilever armchairs (without legs at the rear) in chrome metal and cognac leather,, were issued by the designer and fashion designer Matteo Grassi in the 1970s. Their tubular chrome metal structure (in excellent condition) gives them a clean, airy line and offers a flexible seat that will adapt to its user. The backs, seats and armrests are upholstered in saddle-stitched cognac leather, a two-needle sewing technique, which is very sturdy. Under the armchairs are two metal hoops with screw threads which allow you to adjust the tension of the leather and therefore the firmness of the seat. With their original curves, these armchairs brilliantly combine comfort and timeless design.
