Elegant and functional kai kristiansen dresser manufactured in denmark in the 1960s. It is a rare model with seven drawers, also might be known as the semainier, popularized in 18th-century france (the name comes from the french word for the week, semaine), which was intended to separate the copious personal linens of the time into monday-through-sunday supplies. The dresser has a nicely curved front with solid teak round handles, a teak base and features a beautiful and perfectly matched teak veneer. The top drawer is lockable by the original key preserved. The chest of drawers has been checked by our team. All drawers are clean and work smoothly. Here we have cleaned the wood meticulously, and the surface was refreshed with several layers of danish oil. Excellent vintage condition with minor traces of use. We have two such dressers that you can buy as a set.
