Buffet

Pretty buffet in soft colors. Completely sanded and preventatively treated. The exterior was painted in the foam color from id then varnished. The interior was painted in verdigris. The inside of the drawer has been waxed, note a small ink stain which did not come off when sanding but this does not hinder use. The doors were papered with pretty floral paper. The top has been sanded and waxed. The whole thing has been lightly sanded on the edges to obtain a nice patina. The tray is not perfect but that is also the charm of the old. Good storage capacity thanks to its depth. It’s an antique piece of furniture with a story.
