Copper mirror

We are offering here an extremely old mirror which also has the advantage of being relatively light. It is surrounded by a double copper frame (some sometimes speak of embossed brass?). The central glass is octagonal and beveled. The set of mirrors that make it up are old, as evidenced by the traces on certain surfaces, as proof of a story that we would like to know. The material itself, and its patina reveal a true authenticity that the pitting of the mercury mirror can only further attest. The back of the mirror, paneled in the old style, is in itself a trace of history. It’s a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. The brightness that such a beautiful mirror reflects, in an entryway, for example, is astonishing. The warmth of the color of the yellow copper is the source, as are the marvelous drawings that the sculptor managed to sketch... The armorial pediment alone is superb. But which family does this coat of arms come from? We don't know... Maybe now it's yours. How old is he. It was perhaps designed around the 1900s (probably much earlier) as these mirrors are rather characteristic of the 18th and especially 19th centuries.
