Description
Pair of large gilded bronze chenets decorated with two baluster vases with two handles surrounding a grenade on a balustrade. Louis XVI era. (screws changed). Height: 39 cm - width: 44 cm. Depth: 27 cm. The motif of the grenade or "exploding bomb" was used by the merchant-foundry pitoin, especially on fires delivered for the crown in the 1770s.
