€42 €48

The plates are all in very good condition, no cracks, no gaps or shards. They come from the earthenware factories of digoin and sarreguemines, located in the east of france, in moselle, on the border with germany, and which were created at the end of the 18th century to the revolution, in this region of earthencer tradition. With a unique traditional know-how, the earthenware factories of digoin and sarreguemines have produced and supplied many french families with quality household ceramics. The beue rose pattern and button was made on the plates one by one, by hand by specialized workers using a stencil, which explains why there are oetites differences in color and intensity for each plate. The pattern is two-tone, blue and grey. The shape of the plates with the marli with cut-outs is typical of the 1940s, a transition period between the art deco style and the 1950s. The enamel is very thin, and has aged well. The plates are all marked on the reverse of the brand of earthenware in black ink. They're hollow plates.
