Superb trunk or travel chest in wood, copper, leather and metal, beautifully decorated with delicately engraved floral patterns on the copper that covers each of its faces. Leather handles are present on the sides, while small wheels underneath make it easy to move this trunk. Dating from the Victorian era to the 19th century. Inside, an original lithograph represents a woman surrounded by roses and birds, it is an authentic "stamp" once used on steam trunks. This type of trunk, of unfailing solidity, is made of wood reinforced with metal to withstand bad weather, especially during train and boat travel. Its "domed" shape optimizes the space inside and ensures better resistance and handling. Today, this trunk retains all its charm and quality of yesteryear, serving as storage, decoration or collector's item. Dimensions: 63 h X 93 l X 50 p.
