Antique rustic solid wood chest

Magnificent century-old chest typical of 19th century franche-comté peasant furniture handcrafted, the front is a piece of oak, as are the uprights. The top is an assembly of two large fir boards. The back, the bottom and the two sides are also in raw fir. This is a magnificent piece that has stood the test of time to us. The chest has a unique patina, highlighted by a wax finish. The wood has been fully treated.
