An oil landscape from the 1960s by the swedish painter astri ekengren-larsson (1898-1990). Handwritten and dated by the author in the lower part of the painting. Oil painting on panel. Framed. Astri cecilia ingeborg ekengren-larsson (born june 7, 1898 in stockholm, died april 26, 1990 in stockholm) - swedish painter and goldsmith. Ekengren-larsson studied with the goldsmith märt af ekenstam in malmö. In the years 1919–1926 she worked in her own arts and crafts workshop in eskilstuna. In the years 1926-1928 she lived in moscow and took the opportunity to study handicrafts in moscow museums. In the years 1934–1938 she was a private student of hugo carlberg in lund, and in 1940 she studied at the school of painting in skåne. She exhibited separately several times in different places in the country and participated in exhibitions with östgöta konstförening. Her art consists of still lifes, portraits, street scenes and, above all, landscapes. She lived and worked most of her life in vittsjö, skåne.
