Description
Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen created the Organic Chair in 1940 for the "Organic Design in Home Furnishings" competition organized by the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The small, extraordinarily comfortable reading chair thanks to its comfortablely padded organic shell also comes in an Organic Highback version with a higher back. Seat shell: laminated. Padding: polyurethane foam coated with hopsack light green fabric. Feet: black ash or natural oak. Skates: plastic skates for carpeting, extra felt skates for hard floor also joined. H82.5 x L72.5x P67.5. Seat height: 35. General good, used condition. This may come out with spot cleaning - Slight wrinkling on left side of seat, please refer to photos - Some wear at the top of the back of the chair - Dirty marks and one small fabric flaw on the right side, please refer to photos.
