Vico Magistretti for Artemide Triclinio chandelier opaline glass 1967

Large triclinio chandelier designed by vico magistretti and manufactured by artemide in italy in 1967. This chandelier was developed from the clinio lamp, designed in 1961, which served as the basis for magistretti to develop the triclionio, pentaclinio and eptaclinio series in 1967.this triclinio example has a structure composed of three lights, each with a rounded diffuser in opaline glass, and an interior globe also in opaline glass, containing an e27 socket. The structure of the chandelier is made of nickel-plated brass, and has three arms, each equipped with four hooks holding the glass elements in position. The structure has been completely cleaned, re-electrified, and the chandelier is in superb condition. A rare and iconic piece of italian space age design.
