Its capital is now called sanandaj, but in the field of carpets, its old name continues to be used: senneh. All over the province, the kurdish population weaves solid and resistant carpets with rich patterns. The carpets of the city of senneh offer elegance with fine workmanship and superb colors and decorations. The carpet is dominated by red and dark blue tones.
