Fascinating and rare! Vintage inkwell that takes the shape of a 1930s automobile (probably a Chevrolet) with these four moving wheels. Lifting the hood of the Chevrolet reveals containers for paints and water; an area for mixing; and a brush storage compartment. The rear of the car is embossed with “manufactured by betel motor car, patent no. 75086”. Origin: England, circa 1930. This very impressive piece will make a happy collector! Dimensions: The inkwell measures approximately 20cm long X 10cm wide X 10/12cm high. Its brass finish is in simply splendid and intact condition. The inkwell has all of these pieces, which is rare for an object dating from the 1930's. As the numerous photos attest, this collector's item is simply superb. Not to be missed for an informed collector!
