3 russell woodard spun fiberglass chairs. Each is made of spun fiberglass. The pieces have web style frames. Each piece is white in color. The chairs measure 87 high, 52 wide, 57 deep, and 42 seat. Russell woodard furniture, outdoor furniture, patio furniture, home goods, home furnishings, woven fiberglass furniture, mid century modern, mid century modern patio furniture, modern outdoor furniture. Lyman e. Woodward founded the family business woodard brothers (he dropped the second w from his company name), later woodard furniture co., in owosso, michigan, in 1866. Woodard furniture produced wooden furniture such as birch and oak bedroom sets and window blinds. On the furniture side, lyman's son lee woodard started his own business under the name lee l. Woodard and sons, opening a shop with his sons, joseph, lyman ii, and russell woodard. In the 1930s, the new company explored the use of metal in furniture manufacturing, and in 1940 introduced a set of wrought-iron dining sets with decorative grilles.
