Set of 10 ceramic shell plates by Dominique Guillot for Vallauris 1960, f plates

Exceptional set of 10 flat plates in the shape of a shell (praire) dating from the 1960s and created by dominique guillot in vallauris, france. Made of ceramic and hand painted in gray, brown and very light blue tones, very close to the shell in question. The backs of the plates are blue. All hand signed “guillot” + a small “guillot france” stamp. This model has become very rare and therefore highly sought after. Good general condition, note: some scratches and stains on the back of the plates. 3 plates have a chip on one edge. Please look at the photos carefully, they are part of the product description! As these plates are vintage, they may have normal wear and imperfections which make them unique pieces with a story! Dimensions: 24 cm long / 23 cm wide / 3.5 cm high.
