2 Old Calvados Jugs in Two-Tone Glazed Stoneware
€61
Description
Pair of vintage jugs / bottles in glazed stoneware: one brown, the other beige. Long considered more noble than terracotta, stoneware was particularly fashionable at the end of the 19th century. Featuring a high seal, it is perfect for storing milk, butter, cream, cured meats, condiments, and liquids such as oil, vinegar and alcohol. Previously used for calvados, these containers can be transformed into vases or water carafes. They will bring a pretty rustic and retro touch to your kitchen or table. A great gift for lovers of old pottery. Very good condition. (light) h 30 X w 18 X d 16 cm – (dark) h 25 X w 20 X d 18 cm vg 2023-91.
