Vintage white opaline egg cup - Cold decorated opaline egg hen Vallerysthal

This lovely egg cup is in white opaline. This "fair opaline" is decorated with a chicken and cold decorated. This egg cup comes from the portieux vallerysthal glass and opaline manufacturers (joint catalogs) and is marked "vallerysthal". Dating from the very beginning of the 20th century, these pressed-molded glass opalines were sold at fairs or popular markets. In good general condition, I note traces of the baking mold, chips and wear of the enameled decoration. The beak is broken. Dimensions: 5 X 6.5 cm. A lovely opaline to collect or give as a gift.
