We fell in love with this magnificent french turned boxwood screw corkscrew. It dates from the end of the 19th century. He must have uncorked some bottles! Very beautiful honey-colored patina. To use it, turn the upper handle to push in the wick, then extract the cork by turning the wing nut, which is mounted between the handle and the olive bell. Note the small handle “moves” but this does not hinder its operation.
