Italian vintage 1950s/60stargetti sankey wall light sconce

This is stunning mid century modern wall lights designed and labelled targetti. On a chromed plastic bracket with black spiral vent this amazing italian original comes complete with its original cone shaped glass shade which screws onto the base. A rare and original design from targetti sankey the frosted glass shade is ridged and has clear faceted panels. Amazing original 1950s/60s french design from an era when modern futuristic designs were the epitome of post-war era home style. It will look superb in any well designed room. It fixes to the wall with removable bracket to fix it to the wall, then the light clips onto that. The ideal gift for anyone with a love of mid-century modern style and a fantastic decorators piece. Ideal for any room and it could be the perfect prop for a 1950s/60s period theatrical production. In very good vintage condition with only minor surface imperfections. The structure is very strong and functional with only a tiny chink off the white surface of the glass, as you can see it is currently in working order. You will need either a professional electrician or a confident diyer to fix this in your desired location, it will be up to them to get it working there. If you have any concerns about safety you should get it professionally tested after fitting too. It was designed to be used with a european 220/240 volt domestic power circuit, so if you are from a country with 120 volt mains (like usa for example) it might need them adapting.
