Roche-Bobois coffee table

Roche-bobois coffee table from the 70s in wood and rattan. A braiding decoration is also present on two sides of the base. The two parts of the top slide to reveal an interior bar decorated with mirrors. The wood is stained red and varnished. The design is by roger maugrion, a “rattan” artist who created more than 200 models of rattan furniture for roche-bobois in the 1960s and 1970s. Length of the open top: 169 cm the table has been used, evidence of some traces and marks on the top (a small round black circular mark, cigarette burn style) and on the base (impacts and some missing parts around the edge).
