Spice pots floral decoration

This series of five spice jars is a czechoslovak production for export to france. Their square shape is atypical. It is a robust and rustic earthenware. No cracks or chips. The gilded edges of the lids are erased in places and demonstrate the intensive use that was made of these kitchen utensils. The floral decoration is a wicker basket hosting a large bouquet of roses.
