Description
Cubist still life, pencil and oil pastel drawing by alfred gaspart (1900-1993). Artist best known for his naturalist works or drawings when he was a prisoner of war at stalag VII a, his cubist work, rather rare, is very decorative. Bears the ag mark circled at the bottom right placed by the artist's expert during the post-mortem sale of his studio. All of the artist's drawings in my possession have been visually authenticated by his expert rafaele antoniucci. Thin paper with many folds, the drawings have all been professionally framed for protection but also aesthetic purposes with an oak strip in keeping with the simplicity and stripping of the subject. This drawing will easily find its place in a designer apartment, industrial/loft interior or even in a more classic decor.
