East German GDR Vase from 1960s with Hand-Painted Flowers, Steingutfabrik Dresden, Villeroy & Boch

A large ceramic vase made in east germany (gdr) by the veb steingutfabrik dresden, a factory of villeroy & boch specialised in earthenware, as can be determined from the stamp on the bottom of the base. Likely this vase was created in the 1960s. It features an elegant hand-painted motif of yellow-white flowers with green leaves all around and a brown finish along the upper rim and base. True vintage craftsmanship in excellent, undamaged condition. Stands 32 cm tall. 14.5 cm wide at the mouth, 10.5 cm wide at the foot. Weighs 1.6 kg.
