Baroque style metal clock with figurines

Period: ca. Mid 20th century this picturesque baroque style clock is made up of an openwork convex metal plate decorated with male and female figurines on each side. This is cast metal and appears to be some sort of brass alloy with the appearance of weathered bronze. The clock itself has a winding mechanism. It's probably from east germany. Condition: no damage. The clock works when wound. Some dust in the dial case. Dimensions: 36.5 cm high, 24 cm wide, 10 cm deep, 1.5 kg.
