Lovely tray for tea ceremonials in exotic wood enhanced by remarkable work of chiseled brass, with friezes of acanthus leaves. Period: early 20th century – art nouveau dimensions: height: 12cm X length: 41cm X width: 31cm the art of tea is difficult, from the choice of the tea itself, its preparation, the action of boiling the water, to make the infusion, to distribute it in the cups which lets all the aroma escape, until the moment when we sit down and savor its quintessence in measured gestures, with all our senses and his whole soul. Since ancient times, the vietnamese have known how to perfume tea with many species of flowers: lotus, jasmine, chloranthes, chrysanthemum, combining the scent of tea and floral scents to enjoy all the fragrances of heaven and earth. Each flower gives the tea its particular aroma, but the most original is the lotus. On the lotus pond, in the evening, in a small boat, we approach the flowers and place inside each of them a small bag of tea which is imbued with all the scents and vital forces of the flower.
