Part of the Floreal service from the Givors Earthenware Factory (Grigny Rhône)

Very nice set consisting of 8 shaped dishes and 43 plates, in iron earth, of the floreal model: - a salad bowl of 28cm in diameter, 11.5cm high, the foot was glued back by someone who shouldn't have but all the pieces are there!, - a hollow dish of 28.7cm in diameter, 5.4cm high, - two "flat" dishes, one of 28.4cm in diameter with 3 small marks without enamel on the edge, and one of 29.8cm in diameter, - a sauce boat of dimensions: 27cm X 15.5cm X 10cm high, - three dishes which measure between 24.5 and 25cm long by 14cm wide, snags, stains, - 12 hollow plates of 24cm in diameter, one has small visible dots on the bottom, - 26 flat plates of 24cm in diameter and 5 plates which have the brand "email sans plomb france" in addition to "floreal faïencerie nouvelle givors": one of 24.5cm in diameter and the other four of 23cm in diameter. Generally speaking, these different elements have minor defects in cooking, use and time (except for the foot of the salad bowl). Three other flat plates will be added (two are chipped and one has a 3cm hair). The color of the floral decoration is more of a blue-green than a deep blue as some photos might suggest. The nouvelle de givors earthenware factory succeeds the grigny earthenware factory in 1920 when it resumed activity after the war, it is not located in givors but in grigny. It closed in 1958.
