Zanzibar Chest

Shirazi chest. Rectangular in shape, made of hardwood garnished on three sides with openwork copper alloy plates with a foliate outline and nails creating rosettes and geometric patterns. In the center of the front, a palmette cut-out lock allowing a large hinged lid to be opened, and along the base, three drawers each with a pair of handles.
