This high-quality early halogen floor lamp model 'zagar' was designed in 1978 by silvio carpani for stilnovo in italy. Award-winning italian design: compasso d'oro (1980). Carpani is also known for his iconic designs for other italian brands like zanotta, alessi, danese and flos. The iconic metal lamp in postmodern / brutalist design features a tilt-adjustable halogen light that is also dimmable by a rotable switch on the upper lamp stem. This is a rare version in beige.
