Royal delft. Mosa delft by louis regout (1832-1905) Ceramic baluster lamp. Decorated in blue with views of boats and mills in arched cartouches of stylized foliage. Marked below n/dec 507. 19th century. Total height: 45cm. Very good general condition, despite some chips on the foot, works. Mosa (Latin name for Meuse) was founded in 1883 by Louis Regout (1832-1905), one of Petrus Regout's sons. Only the scripted text n/delft and a decoration number (dec.xxx) on a product testify to its origin as a mosa piece.
