Magnificent glossy glazed ceramic basket, unique model in slip, in a so-called oxblood color, in the style of Jérôme Massier de Vallauris. This piece, most likely made between the 1940s and 1960s, is of French origin. * With a design that is both baroque and eclectic, this basket is adorned with large petals ribbed with gilding. Its openwork and braided central part extends harmoniously to under the base, which also features worked details. * The piece bears the number 3, inscribed in gold. Some minor chips are to be noted, but they remain very discreet and in no way alter the dazzling beauty of the whole. These imperfections, located on the lower parts, go unnoticed. The gilding, for its part, is perfectly intact. * This basket demonstrates superb craftsmanship, with a glaze of exceptional quality. It is an ideal piece for a refined Christmas decoration, especially during this holiday season. * We do not recommend using it as a pocket emptier, as this could scratch or damage the enamel as well as the gilding. It is primarily a centerpiece intended for decorative use. * 📏 33 cm length / 27 cm width / approximately 10 cm height. ⚖️ 0.981 kg. 📦 France 🇫🇷, Europe 🇪🇺 & world 🌍 📦 Mondial Relay / Colissimo / Relay Parcel / Shop2shop. 📦 Our packages are packed with great care (bubble wrap, newspapers, package reinforcement, etc.).
